Foodie Friday: Maggie & Mary’s Pantry Pack Soup Mixes

maggie and marys soups

Welcome to January.  It’s cold and blustery outside and that means soup and chili are the perfect meal solution.  This month for National Soup Month, we are going to share with you some of our favorite packaged soup mixes.  We are big into chicken noodle, vegetable and minestrone in our house and while that may be a big focus of our posts, we are going to go outside the box as well.

Maggie and Mary’s will have your mouth watering from the moment you open up the package. Robust flavors make for a hearty meal. We keep the pantry stocked with this favorite!

Maggie and Mary’s mixes make meal time memorable.  Mary states her cooking skills are lacking and when asked, “Why dry soup mixes?” she responded, “We figured there must be other people like me who missed out on the whole Easy Bake™ Oven thing and therefore, would benefit from EASY, COMPLETE and DELICIOUS foods that can be prepared by just adding water.”

Maggie feels her advantages in this business are, “I did have an Easy Bake™ Oven. I also had two great neighborhood pals, Davy and Darvy, who encouraged me to cook up tiny cakes—and trouble—whenever we played together. (For the record, I still like to cook up a little mischief every now and then.)”

Mary and Maggie met as Freshmen in college. The rest is history and we all benefit from their amazing mixes. Our two favorites are their Chicken Noodle Soup and Burger Beef Soup.

burger beefBurger Beef Soup

A soup mix that delivers roast beef comfort food flavor in less than an hour.
Serves 6.

The mix contains barley, a whole grain and a good source of dietary fiber. The potatoes, carrots and peas are gently air dried to lock in just picked color and taste.

The soup’s deep beef flavor notes will remind you of fresh roast beef gravy

Just add ground beef; or stew meat for the easiest comfort food ever! For a heartier meal, serve over mashed potatoes or noodles, or top with drop biscuits.

The #1 selling soup flavor in America. Just add water and 1 cup of diced chicken.
Serves 6.

This Chicken Noodle Soup is good for body and soul. The first time you taste it, you will be instantly transported back to your grandma’s kitchen. This soup will take your taste buds on a wonderful trip down memory lane! And the best part is, we use round noodles so they don’t slip off the spoon OR slap you in the face!
