Gather a few supplies and have a crafting afternoon with the entire family. Here are a few of our favorites.
Festive Flake Gift Bags
Round up some solid colored gift bags, white tissue paper, glue and scissors. Fold a sheet of tissue paper four times. Make the first two folds square and the second two diagonal. Cut out a variety of shapes. Unfold and reveal your design. Glue them to your gift bags.
Christmas Card Garland
Round up some greeting cards, ribbon, single-hole punch, garland and scissors. Punch a hole in the upper left inside corner of your Christmas cards and thread the ribbon through each hole. Take the string of cards and wrap it around a piece of garland to create a festive decoration for your banister or wall.
Christmas Card Placemat
Round up greeting cards, construction paper, scissors and glue. Cut the construction paper into large rectangles the size of placemats. Cut up Christmas cards and assemble an attractive collage. Glue the card cut-outs to the rectangles. Laminate to preserve the artwork.
Add in a Frozen Hot Chocolate treat to make your crafting day complete.
Frozen Hot Chocolate
This is what you will need: 1 cup milk, 2 Tablespoons chocolate syrup, 2 Tablespoons marshmallow fluff, 3-4 ice cubes and a blender.
Put everything in the blender, then put the top on. Blend until everything is smooth. Pour into a mug and enjoy!
