My daughter has always like activity books and puzzle books. Now that she is a teen, she likes things a bit more challenging. Thunder Bay Books fits the bill on this one with their “1000 Dot-t0-Dot” books. We love the variety within each book as they contain 20 comic characters that you complete yourself. Be warned, these are not easy and they will take time and patience, but the finished product is amazing. Each dot-to-dot contains numbers in multiple colors so there are embedded dot-to-dot puzzles within each picture. Once you’ve mastered the dot-to-dot activity, try your hand at coloring the pictures. These make great wall art!!
If you are already thinking about Christmas, these books would be great for stockings or under the tree coupled with a nice set of colored pencils.
