#MasterChefJunior Recap

This week was a tough one for the kids in that they made Vegan burgers for guest judge Mayim Bialik.  I commend the show for bringing in alternative food lifestyles and having such a great judge this week.  Mayim is  a great ambassador for Vegan dishes and worked so well with the kids. I had no idea she was so talented as to have a cookbook, let alone it being her second published book.  Her sbook of vegan family-friendly recipes, Mayim’s Vegan Table, was published by Da Capo Press in February 2014.

Eddie from Master Chef Junior

We were heart-broken to see Eddie and Sam go, but we also realize it’s part of the show and 2 of these talented kids are on the “chopping block” each week.

In case you missed it, you can check out our interview with Eddie here.  As well, click on one of the Master Chefs Below to see their interview as well:

Make sure you check back with us weekly while the season 5 is on air as we will be interviewing the chefs sent home on the show in our Friday Foodie Feature.  These kids are not only talented in the kitchen but have big hopes and dreams for their future.

While you are visiting the interviews, leave a comment, question or encouraging word for each chef.  Let us know your pick for the Season 5 Winner here.  We are interested to see who you think will be the winner!
